How Do We Feel, Greendale?

Some highly relevant news for you all: COMMUNITY IS ON TONIGHT! Please watch it. And tell any friends, acquiescence, innocent perverts you might know to do likewise. And please, if you watch online, do so tomorrow on Hulu or NBC.com as opposed to some other, more fun site.

So I thought it would help rally support and lift our spirits if we start talking about why exactly we love Community so much.

One of my favorite things is how Community has jokes that appeal to both pop culture nerds and just regular dudes watching tv, often as the same joke.

Perfect example is the Cougarton Abbey story from this years season premiere, which involves Abed’s new favorite show ending after six episodes with all the characters committing suicide. It’s hilarious as a joke about the abrupt, occasionally dark nature of British television. And it’s hilarious as just a joke about Abed in crisis.

This is the kind of writing that absolutely deserves to be on television.

What’re your guys’ favorite things about Community?

A Place For Human Beings.
NBC's "Community" has been placed on mid-season hiatus and it is unclear whether or not it will return for a fourth season. Show your support for our beloved show with a photo of yourself adorned with a fake goatee- as a world without Community, truly, "...is the darkest and most terrible timeline."
